Choosing a smaller car doesn’t need to be your first port of call, but it could make life more streamlined if there’s no way to physically change your driveway. 

Alternatively, making landscaping changes could help you to manoeuvre smoothly. If you’re changing the surface, don’t forget to check if you need planning permission. Otherwise, you could make small practical changes like adding mirrors or lighting for safer access, even by night.
